Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T SIM Card Replacement

This repair guide is for removing or replacing the SIM card on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T device.

Step 1 | Eject the SIM card tray

Insert a SIM card eject tool into the small hole in the SIM card tray, located on the upper left edge of the phone.

  • Press firmly to eject the tray.

Step 2 | Remove the SIM card tray

Remove the SIM card tray from the phone.

A damaged or missing rubber gasket around the SIM tray can expose internal components to water and dust damage, requiring replacement of the gasket or entire SIM tray.

  • Reinsert the SIM card in the proper orientation within the tray to ensure secure seating.
