Lift the screen with the suction handle to create a small gap.
If difficult, apply more heat and try again due to varying phone age factors.
Insert the opening pick into the bottom right corner of the screen and slide it across to cut the adhesive.
Make sure to leave the opening pick in place, as the adhesive may reseal if it is removed too soon.
If adhesive becomes hard, it may have cooled down — reheat with iOpener or heat gun for 1-2 minutes.
Insert a fifth opening pick along the right edge of the phone.
Do not remove the display yet, as the display cables are still threaded through the midframe.
Be cautious when handling internal components.
Thread the display flex cable through the gap in the midframe.
