Secure a suction handle to the rear glass's bottom edge, as close as possible.
Use the suction handle to lift the rear glass and create a small gap between the back cover and frame.
If you're having trouble creating a gap, apply more heat following iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.
Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.
Leave both opening picks in place to prevent resealing of the adhesive.
Reheat the adhesive with your iOpener for 1-2 minutes if it becomes hard to cut.
Insert opening pick under top left corner.
Insert the fifth opening pick under the top right corner.
Remove the rear glass.
Apply strong, steady pressure to phone for several minutes after installation to help adhesive form a good bond.
Remove the motherboard cover by unscrewing the eleven 3.9 mm long Phillips screws

Remove the loudspeaker assembly.
Use a spudger to pry the display cable connector straight up from its socket.
Apply a heated iOpener or heat gun to the screen for 2 minutes to loosen the adhesive.
Be cautious when using high heat to avoid overheating the device.
Apply a suction handle to the bottom edge of the warm screen.
Lift the screen gently using the suction handle to create a small gap between the midframe and the screen.
Insert an iFlex above its original position.
Insert a second opening pick at the bottom edge.
If adhesive becomes hard to cut, it has likely cooled down.
Insert the tip of an opening pick, about 2-3 mm, near the front facing camera to avoid damaging or smearing it.
Insert a fifth opening pick at the right edge of the phone.
Avoid removing the display completely for now, as the display cable remains in place.
