Step 1 | Back cover removal
Preheat the device to loosen the adhesive.
- Use a suction cup and plastic tools to pry open the back cover.
- If needed, apply isopropyl alcohol to help release the adhesive.
Careful not to damage any internal components during removal.
Step 2 | Motherboard plastics shield
Remove the screws securing the plastic motherboard cover.
- Pry the cover open using a suitable tool.
Step 3 | Main cameras removal
Remove the battery.
- Disconnect all four flex cables from the camera
- Remove the disconnected flex cables from the device.
Test the device without the camera to ensure proper functionality.
Step 4 | Cleaning the device
Verify normal booting of the phone.
- Inspect and clean main camera connectors.
- Examine and reattach conductive adhesive tapes.
Assemble the device carefully to avoid damage.
