Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S Screen Replacement

This guide replaces a cracked or broken screen on your Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S, also requiring a new frame if deformed for correct mounting and even pressure distribution.

  • You will need replacement adhesive to secure components during reassembly.

Step 1 | Heat the back cover

Step 1 image

Prepare an iOpener by applying it to the back cover for at least two minutes to loosen adhesive underneath.

  • Alternatively, use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate but be careful not to overheat phone (risk of display and internal battery damage).

Step 2 | Insert an opening pick

Step 2 image

Thumbnail 3

Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the back cover, as close to the edge as possible.

  • Lift the back cover with the suction handle to create a small gap between the back cover and the frame.
  • If you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.
  • Insert an opening pick into the gap you created.

Step 3 | Slice the adhesive

Step 3 image
