Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S Back Cover Replacement

This guide is for replacing a damaged back cover on your Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S. Be sure to have replacement adhesive for reassembly.

Step 1 | Heat the back cover

Step 1 image

Prepare an iOpener by applying it to the back cover for at least two minutes.

Careful not to overheat, as the display and internal battery can be damaged by excessive heat.

  • Alternative methods include using a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate.
  • Apply gentle heat for an adequate amount of time to loosen the adhesive underneath.

Step 2 | Insert an opening pick

Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the back cover as close to the edge as possible.

  • Lift the back cover with the suction handle to create a small gap between the back cover and the frame.
  • If you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.
  • Insert an opening pick into the created gap.

Step 3 | Slice the adhesive
