Follow this guide to replace or repair the front speaker on a Xiaomi Redmi 2 device.
Remove the back panel with the flat end of a spudger.
Insert your finger into the curved opening of the mid-frame.
Remove any SIM and/or memory cards that are installed.
Insert a plastic spudger between the mid-frame and front body,
Remove the 3.4 mm Phillips #000 screw securing the motherboard to the front body.
Use one tweezers prong to carefully pry back the brown clip situated atop the LCd ribbon connector.
Use one tweezer prong to gently pry the ribbon clip loose from the motherboard.
Use your fingers to gently lift and rotate the motherboard.
Lift the metal clip covering the front proximity sensor ribbon connector using a single prong of the tweezers.
Remove the antenna connector from the motherboard using a pair of tweezers.
Remove the motherboard from the front cover and place it off to the side.
Use a nylon or metal spudger to carefully pry the front speaker loose from the screen assembly.
Use your fingers to carefully lift the front speaker away from the screen assembly.
