Step 1 | Heat up the camera glass
Apply tape to the back glass lens.
Use a heat gun to warm the adhesive around the glass.
Step 2 | Remove Glass
Use a razor blade and a pry card to carefully loosen the camera glass along its edges.
- Pry the glass away from the phone body, taking care not to break it.
- Gently remove the camera glass once it is loose.
Step 3 | Clean device
Remove excess adhesive from the camera frame.
- Apply new adhesive evenly across the frame's edges.
Step 4 | Place new camera glass
Place the new camera glass on top of the camera frame.
Gently press on the glass to secure it in place.
Clean any leftover adhesive from the previous installation.
