This guide will walk you through replacing the screen display on your Xiaomi Mi Note.
Locate the Dual SIM SD card slot on the left side of the phone.
Insert the Dual SIM SD card removal tool or a paper clip into the slot hole.
Continue inserting until the tray pops out to prevent damage.
Attach the suction cup to the back of the phone.
Be careful not to apply too much pressure — risk of damaging the phone's casing.
Locate and remove the screws marked in the image, which hold the frame in place.
Use a nylon spudger to gently pry the ribbon connection between the battery and the motherboard upwards.
Be careful not to press too hard on the battery, as glue may hold it in place.
Detach the motherboard ribbons using an upward prying motion with a spudger.
Use minimal force when detaching the small ribbon on the left side near the volume buttons to avoid damage.
Remove the motherboard from its frame using a tweezer.
Remove the ribbon cable from the metal bracket by gently peeling it away.
Use minimal force when removing the dock connector to prevent damage.
Use a spudger to pry the top two ribbon connectors away from the motherboard and touch sensor. Apply upward pressure.
Use tweezers to lift the two remaining ribbons from the bottom frame, grasping them at any point and lifting towards the bottom.
Be careful not to damage the ribbons during this process.
The ribbons should now be able to slide freely through their respective slits once you have loosened the screen enough to pull it away from the frame for later reassembly.
Peel back the ribbon attached to the back metal frame.
Careful: the glass screen may break.
