Risk of damage from over-tightening or applying excessive force.

• Apply a suction cup to the rear of the device.
• Pull back firmly but carefully, using moderate force, until the back plate releases.

• Remove the six 3.5mm Phillips #000 black screws from the back panel.
• Next, remove the seven 2.5mm Phillips #000 black screws securing part of the back panels.
• Then, remove the five 2mm Phillips #000 silver screws for the remaining back panels.

• Use a nylon spudger to gently pry the ribbon away from its connector on the motherboard.

Locate and insert a nylon or metal spudger under any part of the battery.

• Slide the spudger around all edges to loosen the battery's adhesion.
• The battery can now be easily lifted out from the frame.

Glue holding down the backside of the battery may require additional force for removal.
