Remove the SIM card after turning off your device.

Careful handling required: Apply gentle heat with a hair dryer to loosen the back cover adhesive.

Wait for 30 seconds to allow adhesive to soften.
Remove the back cover carefully using your fingers or a plastic spudger.

Step 3

Remove the screws holding the shield in place.

There are nine screws to remove.

Step 4

Remove the shield.

Disconnect the battery connector.
Unplug the LCD connector, touch connector, and touch ID connector.

Step 5

Apply caution when handling hot tools and avoid burns.

Remove the battery using a gentle prying motion.
Use a hair dryer or heat gun to apply heat and loosen the screen's adhesive.

Step 6

Begin by separating the screen, starting from the top corner, as illustrated.

Step 7

The repair is complete.
