Dirty USB ports can prevent charging — clean or replace if necessary.

Clean the USB port thoroughly with a soft cloth and gentle cleaning solution.
If the issue persists, consider replacing the USB port.

Turn off your phone, ensuring it is completely powered down.

Remove the SIM card tray by sliding it out of the phone.
Prevent static damage: Touch a metal object, such as a tap or a door handle, to discharge static electricity from your body.

Remove the two 2.7mm Pentalobe #2 screws located at the bottom of the phone.

Acquire a suction cup tool and position it near the bottom of the phone.

Pull up on the suction cup to gently lift the LCD Panel from the body of the phone.
Insert a plastic opening tool between the LCD and the phone, starting at the bottom.
Using the combination of tools, slide around the gaps to unhook the clips and release the panel.

The ribbon cable is in the middle of the panel; handling will not pose a snag risk.

Bending or folding the ribbon cable too much can cause damage.

To access the ribbon cable connectors, proceed with caution when handling the new cable.

Remove the battery connector ribbon cable using a plastic spudger, getting underneath the connector and gently lifting it off.

Next, remove the screen connector ribbon cable by lifting from underneath with the same plastic spudger.
Once both ribbon cables are removed, the panel will be free to take out and replace.

Remove the two 3.8mm Phillips #0 screws from the lower metal bracket.

Locate and remove the loudspeaker.

Unplug the antenna wire using a spudger tool.

Flip the board over towards the battery.

The Ribbon Cable Connector is located underneath the sub-board.
Use a spudger tool to remove the cable from the connector.
With the cable disconnected, you can now remove and replace the USB Connector board.
