Xiaomi Mi A2 SIM Card Replacement

Handle the SIM card and SIM tray carefully to avoid loss or damage.

  • Remove the SIM tray from the Xiaomi Mi A2 using your fingers or a plastic tool.
  • Lift out the SIM card from the tray.

Turn off your phone by holding the power button until it shuts down.

  • Find the SIM card slot on the top left of the device.

    • Always wear an ESD bracelet when working with electronics to prevent damage from electrostatic discharge.

Insert the SIM Tool into the press and release node below the SIM Card Slot, then gently press it to eject the SIM Tray.

  • The SIM Tool should slide in easily.
  • Persistent pressure may cause damage to internal components.

Remove the SIM Tray containing the SIM Card.

  • Gently pull out the SIM Card from the tray.
