Remove the black ends from the adhesive tabs using a pair of tweezers.
The adhesive tab underneath the battery can rip easily, so handle with care.
Hold the tweezers and carefully grasp the right adhesive tab.
Pull the tab away from the battery using the tweezers.
Insert an opening pick into the recess and gently pry the battery loose.
Reusing a deformed or bent battery can cause serious injury — replace it immediately.
