Insert SIM card removal tool firmly into top hole.

  • Eject SIM card tray from slot.

Do not remove the orange sticker, as this may void your warranty.

  • Remove two Phillips head screws at the top of the phone, one on either side.

Careful handling of the pry tool is crucial to avoid damaging the phone's screen and internal components.

  • Insert the pry tool into the gap between the screen and frame at the upper edge of the phone.
  • Gently pry the screen away from the rest of the phone, taking care not to apply excessive force that may cause damage.

Careful not to damage the screen or internal components.

  • Slide a priy tool around the perimeter, gently lifting with it until panels separate.

The back plate is now removed.

  • The phone's rear casing is detached.
  • The screen assembly is exposed.

Place the front panel, screen facing down and camera facing up.

  • Remove six Phillips head screws located at the upper half of the phone.
  • Locate and remove a Phillips head screw underneath an orange sticker in the top right corner.

The sticker can be removed with a pair of tweezers, but handle it carefully to avoid damaging the surrounding area.

Remove screws from the bottom of the back panel.

Use tweezers to remove the rubber dust cover from the back panel.

Insert the pry tool into the gap at the bottom edge of the back panel, then gently lift to remove the plastic cover.

Insert a pry tool into the upper edge of the back panel and gently lift.

  • If your device has an NFC antenna at the back of the battery glued to the top cover, refer to the touchscreen guide for removal instructions, as it may require removing the battery first.

Remove the small ribbon cable from the battery using a spudger.

Be prepared for some force, as the battery may require effort to dislodge due to strong adhesive.

  • Locate and grip the Battery Removal tab on the back panel's left side.
  • Pull up firmly on the tab to release the battery.

Remove the battery from the panel.

Use a pry tool to disconnect the antenna wire on the lower left side of the motherboard.

Locate the rectangular metallic connector at the bottom right of the motherboard.

  • Use a p ry tool to gently separate the LCD display cable from the motherboard.

Insert the pry tool under the wide end of the gold ribbon cable, then lift up to disconnect it.

Use a pry tool to carefully lift the rectangular metallic piece on the motherboard's top right corner, separating the cable ribbon.

Insert the pry tool under the rectangular metallic piece on the top right of the motherboard.

  • Gently lift the metallic piece to separate a cable ribbon from underneath.

Loosely connected to the motherboard, lift the side control buttons assembly using a pry tool.

Remove the screws using a screwdriver.

Locate the panel and prepare to remove it.

  • Insert the pry tool at the top edge of the panel, using it as a lever.
  • Lift the panel upward carefully to disengage it from its mounting points.

Confirm motherboard removal is complete.

Flip the motherboard over onto its front.

  • Use a small pry tool to gently disconnect the side buttons from the back of the motherboard.
