Press the SIM card removal tool firmly into the top hole.

Use a spudger to disconnect the small ribbon cable from the battery.
Be prepared for some force as the battery is secured by strong adhesive and may require extra effort to remove.

Use the pry tool to disconnect the antenna wire from its connector on the lower left side of the motherboard.
Insert the pry tool under the wide end of the gold ribbon cable, then lift upwards to release.
Insert the pry tool under the rectangular metallic piece on the top right of the motherboard.

Gently lift the piece to separate the cable ribbon from the motherboard.
Use a pry tool to carefully lift the side control buttons assembly away from the case.
Remove the screws.
Use a pry tool to lift the motherboard from the panel, starting at the top edge.
The motherboard is safely out.
Use a pry tool to carefully detach the camera's ribbon cable from the motherboard.
Remove the rear-facing camera from the panel.
