The frame must not be deformed or damaged as it may cause uneven pressure on the new screen leading to damage.
Careful not to insert eject tool into microphone opening.
Prepare an iOpener and apply it to the rear glass for at least two minutes to loosen adhesive.
Use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate with caution, avoiding overheating as the display and internal battery may be damaged by excessive heat.
Attach a suction handle to the rear glass's right edge, as near the edge as feasible.
Use the suction handle to elevate the rear glass, creating a small gap between the glass and frame.
Do not remove the opening pick — this can cause the adhesive to reseal.
Insert a second opening pick into the top right corner.
Reheat the adhesive with an iOpener for 1-2 minutes if it becomes hard to cut.
Insert a Y000 pick under the bottom left corner.
Insert a fifth opening pick under the top left corner.
Apply strong and steady pressure to ensure proper adhesion.
Remove the motherboard cover using an 11mm Phillips screwdriver.
Disconnect the battery cable using a spudger, prying the connector straight up from its socket.
Disconnect the SIM card tray cable from the motherboard using the flat end of a spudger.
Remove the SIM card tray's screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
Remove the SIM card tray from the phone assembly using a pair of blunt nose tweezers.

Apply heat to the screen using an iOpener or heat gun for 2 minutes.
Ensure the phone's screen is warm before proceeding.
Take care when handling super glue.
Insert the opening pick into the top right corner of the screen and slide it down to cut the adhesive.
Do not remove the opening pick until you have completed this procedure, as the adhesive may reseal otherwise.
Insert a second opening pick under the top right corner.
If adhesive becomes hard to cut, it has cooled down.
Leave pick in the bottom left corner to prevent resealing.
Insert a fifth opening pick under the top left corner.
Do not remove the display yet, as the display cable is still threaded through the frame.
Use the flat end of a spudger to gently pry up the display connector from the midframe.
Insert the display flex cable into the gap in the midframe.
