Xiaomi Mi 10 Upper Loudspeaker Replacement

This guide is for replacing the upper loudspeaker in a Xiaomi Mi 10. Replacement adhesive will be required for reassembly.

Step 1 | Heat the rear glass

Step 1 image

Switch off your phone.

  • iOpener the back of the phone for at least 2 minutes to loosen the adhesive beneath the back cover.

Step 2 | Insert the iFlex

Secure a suction handle to the rear glass, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the rear glass is cracked, try lifting with strong tape or superglue the suction handle in place and let it cure.
  • Lift the rear glass with the suction handle to create a small gap between the glass and frame.

The Xiaomi Mi 10's rear glass fits tightly, so an iFlex is required to create sufficient space for an opening pick.

  • Insert the iFlex into the gap and leave it in place to prevent resealing of the adhesive.

Step 3 | Begin to slice the adhesive
