Discharging the battery below 25% beforehand prevents potential heat-related hazards.

Attach a suction handle to the rear glass's bottom edge.
If the rear glass is cracked, use strong tape or superglue to secure the suction handle.
Now you can safely remove the iFlex.
Insert a second opening pick at the bottom left corner.
Insert opening pick 3 into the bottom left corner.
Reapply heat using your iOpener if the adhesive becomes difficult to cut.

Insert an opening pick between the loudspeaker and the protective mat, carefully slicing through the adhesive.
Apply an opening pick to cut through the adhesive under the black protective mat over the lower speaker unit.
Avoid damaging the copper foil underneath the NFC and charging coil assembly.
Do not remove the NFC and charging coil assembly completely yet – it remains glued to the motherboard cover.
Be careful not to damage the NFC and charging coil assembly.
Remove the five 4.9mm Phillips #00 screws.
Insert an opening pick under the motherboard cover's lower right corner.
Remove the motherboard cover, which also includes the NFC and charging coil assembly.
Use the flat end of a spudger to pry up and release the battery flex cable.
Remove the three Phillips #00 screws securing the upper loudspeaker assembly.
Remove the upper loudspeaker assembly.
Insert the flat end of a spudger into the gap between the battery and the case.
Peel off the larger tab marked A using your fingers.
Hold both orange pull tabs and gently pull up to remove the battery.
Do not reinstall a damaged or deformed battery — potential safety hazard.
Temporarily reconnect the battery connector to the motherboard socket for proper alignment.
