This guide is for replacing a damaged or broken rear glass on the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite.
Prepare an iOpener. Apply it to the rear glass for at least two minutes to loosen the adhesive underneath.
Be cautious when using a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate: overheating can cause damage to the display and internal battery.
Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the rear glass, as close to the edge as possible.
If the rear glass is cracked, the suction handle may not stick; try lifting it with strong tape or superglue in place and allow it to cure.
Insert an opening pick into the gap created, then slide it to the bottom right corner to slice the adhesive.
Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.
Insert a second opening pick at the bottom edge.
Reheat the adhesive with your iOpener if it's becoming hard to cut.
Leave one opening pick in the top left corner to prevent resealing of the adhesive.
Insert a pick into the top left corner of the phone.
Insert opening pick into top right corner.
Remove the rear glass.
Apply strong, steady pressure to your phone for several minutes to form a good bond; using a stack of heavy books can be effective.
