Pocophone F1 IPS LCD Screen & Digitizer Replacement

If your battery is swollen, take appropriate precautions and replace it with a new one.

  • Discharge your battery below 25% before disassembling your phone to reduce the risk of thermal damage.
  • Remove the battery first to access the Screen & Digitizer.
  • Do not reuse a removed battery; replace it with a new one for safety reasons.
  • Ensure you have the correct replacement screen (with or without a pre-installed frame) before proceeding.
  • You'll need replacement adhesive to reattach components during reassembly.

Adhesive may be too sticky — risk of damage if excessive force is applied.

  • For stubborn adhesion, apply a iOpener for at least two minutes or use a heat gun to soften adhesive.

Secure a suction handle to the screen's bottom edge.

If the screen is cracked, use strong tape or superglue the suction handle in place and allow it to cure before proceeding.

  • Lift the rear glass with the suction handle to create a small gap between the screen and frame.
  • Insert an opening pick into the gap.

If you have trouble, apply more heat following iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner.
  • Step 22

Slide an additional opening pick into position at the screen's center, then guide it down to the lower left corner.

Leaving multiple picks in place prevents re-adhesion of the adhesive.

Place an additional opening pick at the bottom left corner of the phone.

    • Move the pick up towards the top left corner to separate the adhesive.
    • Leave it in place to prevent re-adhesion.

If cutting becomes difficult, reheat and reapply the iOpener.

Insert a 4th opening pick at the top left corner.

    • Near the front facing camera, only use the tip of the pick to avoid damage or smearing the camera.
    • Slide the pick along the top edge to cut the adhesive.
    • Leave the pick in the top right corner to prevent resealing.
