This repair requires replacement adhesive for a successful completion.
Prepare an iOpener and apply it to the rear glass for at least two minutes.
Use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate with caution - overheat risks damaging the screen and internal battery.
Secure a suction handle to the right edge of the rear glass, as close to the edge as possible.
Insert an opening pick into the created gap.
Insert the opening pick into the top right corner and slide it down slightly to cut the adhesive.
Leave the opening pick in place to prevent resealing of the adhesive.
Check if the adhesive has cooled down.
Leave the pick in the bottom left corner to prevent resealing of the adhesive.
Insert a pick at the bottom left of your phone.
Careful not to damage button cables, as they are also glued and can be caught while cutting through glue.
Remove the rear glass.
Apply firm, steady pressure to your phone for several minutes after installing the rear glass to ensure a strong bond.
