Xiaomi Poco F3 Loudspeaker Replacement

This guide is for replacing the loudspeaker on the Xiaomi Poco F3. A new set of adhesive is required for a successful repair.

Step 1 | Heat the rear glass

Step 1 image

Prepare an iOpener and apply it to the rear glass for at least two minutes to loosen the adhesive underneath.

  • Alternatively, use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate; however, be careful not to overheat the phone.
  • The screen and internal battery are susceptible to heat damage.

Step 2 | Insert an opening pick

Secure a suction handle to the right edge of the rear glass, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the rear glass is cracked, try lifting it with strong tape or superglueing the suction handle in place and allowing it to cure.
  • Lift the rear glass with the suction handle to create a small gap between the rear glass and the frame.
  • In case of trouble creating a gap, apply more heat and follow iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

Insert an opening pick into the created gap.

Step 3 | Slice the adhesive
