Samsung Moment Rear Case Disassembly

Step 1 | Battery

Remove the back cover from the rear of the device.

Slide the cover off in a single motion, working it along the edges.
The battery will now be visible underneath.

Step 2

Press into the indent by the bottom of the battery with your finger.

Pull the battery straight out of its holder in a single motion.

Step 3 | Samsung Moment Rear Case Disassembly

Remove six screws from the rear case.

Identify the screw locations on the rear case.
Use a Phillips head driver to remove each screw.
Set aside all removed screws for reinstallation later.

Step 4

Use a spudger to pry the rear case apart from the front case.
