Samsung Moment Camera Button Replacement

The Samsung Moment SPH M900 requires installation of a new camera button, situated on the lower right side with a distinctive black line.

  • This guide covers procedures for both disassembling and reassembling the device.

Power off the phone using the Power Button.

  • Locate the camera button on the bottom right side of your phone.
  • Remove the back panel by sliding a spudger along the edge of the phone, causing it to snap off from the remainder of the phone.

Pull upwards on the battery edge to remove it.

Remove the memory card from its holder.

  • Gently slide the memory card out of its holder.

  • Remove six Phillips #000 screws using a screwdriver.
  • Separate the back housing from the phone with a spudger tool.
  • Be careful, as the volume, speaker, and camera buttons may fall out during this process.

  • Note the positions of these three buttons for reassembly.

Remove the camera button from its housing using tweezers.

  • If a replacement is necessary, install the new camera button at this time.
