Replace a broken or shattered display screen with our easy-to-follow instructions.
Use the Phillips #00 Precision Screwdriver to remove the 7 Phillips 3.93 mm screws.
Remove the back cover using a plastic opening tool.
Remove Phillips 3.93 mm screw located at bottom center using a screwdriver.
Disconnect the three labeled ribbons by placing a tool underneath each one and pulling slowly.
Slide the motherboard back and out to the left.
Ensure the motherboard is positioned with its connectors facing upwards, as depicted in the reference image.
Disconnect the labeled cable from its connector.
Be careful not to burn yourself with the heated iOpener.
The glue under display screen is very sticky, be cautious when handling it.
Position the suction cup on the screen, avoiding any cracked areas.
Detach the screen by pulling it carefully.
Replace the cracked screen with a new one to avoid damage or further injury.
