Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G Screen Replacement

• Face down, place the phone so the display screen is away from you.
• Open the back door by sliding it.
• Remove the battery.

Use the Phillips #00 Precision Screwdriver to remove the 7 Phillips 3.93 mm screws.

Remove the back cover using a plastic opening tool.

• Insert the tool into the SD card slot.
• Pry around the entire phone to separate the back cover.

Remove Phillips 3.93 mm screw located at bottom center using a screwdriver.

Disconnect the three labeled ribbons by placing a tool underneath each one and pulling slowly.

• Avoid applying excessive force or speed to prevent damage.
• Do not use this method for removing unlabeled or fragile components.

Slide the motherboard back and out to the left.

Ensure the motherboard is positioned with its connectors facing upwards, as depicted in the reference image.

• Insert a tool under the labeled ribbon cable and gently pull to release the connector from the motherboard.
• The motherboard should now be fully detached from the phone's chassis.

Disconnect the labeled cable from its connector.

• Pull the black gate open, using a tool to assist with removal of the labeled cable.
• Pry the digitizer chip gently with a tool and lift it out.

Be careful not to burn yourself with the heated iOpener.

• Heat the iOpener in microwave on highest power setting for one minute.
• Allow the iOpener to sit on device for about 90 seconds.

The glue under display screen is very sticky, be cautious when handling it.

Position the suction cup on the screen, avoiding any cracked areas.

Detach the screen by pulling it carefully.

• Gently remove the ribbon from its slot.

Replace the cracked screen with a new one to avoid damage or further injury.
