Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G Motherboard Replacement

Be extremely careful when handling electronic components, as static electricity can damage them.

  • Remove the back plate or battery cover, depending on your device model.
  • Disconnect any visible connectors leading to the motherboard.
  • Remove the screws holding the motherboard in place, then carefully lift it out of the phone's casing.

Place phone face down, ensuring the display screen side is away from you.

  • Slide open the battery door.
  • Remove the battery.

Use the Phillips #00 Precision Screwdriver to remove the 7 3.93 mm labeled Phillips screws.

Avoid damaging the phone's frame or screen.

  • Use a plastic opening tool to pry the back cover open.
  • Insert the tool into the SD card slot and work around the entire phone.

Remove the Phillips 3.93 mm screw located at the bottom center of the phone.

Avoid tearing the ribbons by pulling slowly.

  • Place a tool under each of the 3 ribbons.
  • Pull the tool out slowly to disconnect the ribbons.

Push the motherboard back and out to the left, ensuring it is straight up.

  • Insert tool under labeled area and pull gently to detach ribbon cable.
  • The motherboard should now be completely detached.
