Samsung Galaxy Star Pro Speaker Replacement

  • Inspect the speaker for visible signs of physical damage or wear.
  • Carefully clean the speaker's ports and grills with a soft cloth to ensure optimal sound quality.

Step 1 | Battery Replacement

Hold the phone securely with both hands, placing one hand flat on the rear.

  • Support the phone with your dominant hand under the back plate.
  • Pry off the back cover using a gentle popping motion.

  • Remove the rear cover.
  • Lift the battery out using a small plastic spudger.

Step 3 | Screen

Unscrew the five 1.2mm Phillips Screws at the rear of the phone with a screwdriver and the J00 Phillips head screw bit.

Careful handling is necessary to avoid damaging the press-fit connector.

  • Turn the phone over and use a plastic opening tool to unclip the screen connector from the motherboard.

Use a plastic opening tool to pry the screen away from the back casing, starting from one edge.

  • Begin at one corner of the device.
  • Work your way slowly around the entire phone using gentle prying motions.

Step 6 | Motherboard

Unscrew the 1.2mm Phillips screw that connects the motherboard to the rest of the phone.

  • Use your thumbs to pop the phone's innards out.
  • Utilize the same J00 Phillips head bit from previous steps.

Step 7 | Speaker

Grab hold of a speaker on the motherboard using a plastic tool.

Be gentle, as force is not required.

The speaker should easily detach.
