Samsung Galaxy Sol Speaker Replacement

This guide is for replacing the speaker on the Cricket Samsung Galaxy Sol. Issues like water damage, age of the phone, or speaker cleanliness may be contributing factors to problems with the speaker.

Step 1 | Battery

Use an opening tool or your fingernail to gently pry up the divot on the top left side of the phone.

Lift the battery from the bottom upwards using a credit card or similar tool.

Step 3 | Speaker

Unscrew the ten 0.4mm screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Lift up and remove the grey plastic piece.

Use curved tweezers to gently grasp the gold component at the speaker's connector.

  • Lift the gold component out of the speaker slot slowly and carefully.
