Samsung Galaxy Sol Headphone Jack Replacement

This repair guide is for the Cricket Samsung Galaxy Sol's headphone jack audio plug replacement.

Step 1 | Battery

Locate the small divot at the top left corner of the phone's back case.

Use a pointed tool, such as an opening tool or your fingernail, to gently pry open the divot.

Step 2

Use an opening tool or a small flat tool, like a credit card, to lift the battery from the bottom upwards.

Step 3 | Headphone Jack

Unscrew the 10 x 0.4mm Phillips #00 screws to remove the grey back panel.

Step 4

Flip the phone over.

Use the plastic tool to remove the screen.

Step 5

Use tweezers to gently remove the headphone jack located at the top of the phone.
