Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini VE Volume Button Replacement

Step 1 | Removing Rear Casing

Flip your phone over to face the back.

  • Identify the top-notch area on the device.
  • Use a finger or an opening tool to gently pry off the rear casing.

Step 2 | Removing Battery

Pry the battery out with your finger or an opening tool.

Step 3 | Removing Screws

Remove the plastic frame by unscrewing the 10 x 4mm screws using a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

Use a opening tool to carefully pry the phone's plastic casing away.

Step 5 | Removing Circuit Board

Unhook the two electrical connections at the bottom of the phone with your fingernail or a spudger.

  • Use a spudger and tweezers to remove the speaker from the top of the phone.
  • The circuit board should release from the phone, leaving one connection on the underside.
  • Careful: One remaining connection may still be secured.

  • Use a spudger to detach this final connection.

Step 6 | Removing Volume Button

Use a pair of tweezers to gently lift the volume button upwards and away from the phone.
