Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini VE Power Button Replacement
This repair guide will help you replace the power button on your Galaxy SIII Mini VE successfully.
Step 1 | Removing Rear Casing
Flip your phone over to access the back.
- Identify the notch at the top of the device.
- Gently pry off the rear casing using a finger or an opening tool.
Step 2 | Removing Battery
Use a finger or an opening tool to carefully pry the battery out.
Step 3 | Removing Screws
Remove the plastic frame using a Phillips #000 screwdriver.
- Use the screwdriver to remove the 10, 4mm screws
Step 4
Use a opening tool to carefully pry the plastic frame away from the phone.
Step 5 | Removing Circuit Board
Unhook the two electrical connections at the bottom of the phone using a fingernail or spudger.
- Remove the speaker at the top of the phone using a spudger and tweezers.
- Once the components have detached, use the spudger to release any remaining connection on the underside.
Step 6 | Power Button
Remove the power button by lifting it gently with your fingers.
