- Locate the battery compartment.

Step 1 | Removing Rear Casing
Flip the phone over so the back is facing up.
- Pry open the notch at the top using your fingernail or an opening tool.
- Follow the edge of the rear casing with your finger or opening tool to detach it completely.
- Set aside the detached rear casing
Step 2 | Removing the Battery
Identify the battery, a large grey and black rectangular component.
- Pry the bottom edge of the battery gently with your fingernail or an opening tool until it releases.
- Set aside the old battery for now, or dispose of it properly.
Step 3 | Inserting New Battery
Insert the new battery, ensuring the 3 metallic bars align with the 3 prongs on your phone.
- Locate your new battery.
- Gently insert it into the battery slot, making sure the bars align with the prongs.
