Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus Headphone Jack Replacement

This repair may require specialized tools and expertise, so proceed with caution.

  • Use this guide to remove the headphone jack on your Samsung Galaxy S9+
  • Keep replacement adhesive on hand for reattaching the fingerprint sensor during reassembly

Step 1 | Rear Glass Removal

Step 1 image

Switch off your phone.

  • Apply an iOpener to loosen the adhesive beneath the rear glass for at least two minutes.
  • Repeat this step several times if necessary during back cover removal.

Using high heat may cause damage to the AMOLED display and internal battery. A hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate can be used as an alternative, but take care not to overheat the phone.
