Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus Display Adhesive Replacement

Step 1 | Display Adhesive
Remove all adhesive and debris from the phone's frame.
Failure to do so may damage the new display or prevent proper mounting.
- Clean the adhesion surface with high concentration isopropyl alcohol (over 90%) and a lint-free cloth.
- Lay out the adhesive strips to determine their placement.
- Peel off the clear plastic backing from the large pre-cut strip, exposing one side of the adhesive.
Step 2
Line up a long edge of the adhesive with the phone's frame.
Verify that the adhesive cutouts match the phone's design.
- Set the adhesive down gently on the frame.
- If not aligned, carefully remove and reposition the adhesive.
Once aligned, press the adhesive onto the frame using your fingers.
Step 3
Peel a non-reversible end adhesive strip from the clear plastic backing.
- Hold the strip by the green tabs and line up the cutout with the phone frame.
- Lay the adhesive down on the phone, ensuring all features align properly.
- Press the adhesive into place using your fingers.
Ensure all cutouts are correctly aligned to avoid damage or air bubbles.
- Repeat the procedure for the remaining end adhesive strip.
Step 4
Continue reassembling your device until you're ready to attach the screen.
Test the screen's functionality before securing it in place to avoid any issues.
- Peel off the green plastic liner from all adhesive strips to expose the screen-facing adhesive.
- Align and set the phone screen on top of the exposed adhesive.
- Squeeze around the perimeter of the phone with your fingers to apply pressure to the adhesive.
Apply a few pounds of weight on top of the screen for at least one hour to allow the adhesive to bond properly.
