Use a heat gun to lightly heat the edges of the back.

  • Heat the adhesive for approximately one minute to soften it.
  • Avoid overheating, as excessive heat can damage internal parts such as the OLED display and battery.
  • Use an alternative heat source (e.g. iFixit iOpener, hair dryer, or hot plate) if a heat gun is not available.

Handle the metal frame with care, as it will become hot to the touch when using a heat gun, hair dryer, or hot plate.
