Removing the rear glass panel will destroy its adhesive, so replacing it requires extra steps.
Remove the clear plastic cover from the adhesive packaging.
Position the glass panel face-up, rotating it so lens holes are to your right.
Run your fingers over the tape to ensure firm attachment to the glass.
Peel off the green protective coating.
Remove the inner film layer to expose the adhesive surface.
Minor misalignments can be fixed by trimming the adhesive with an X-Acto knife, but removing more than half of the strip may require reapplying the tape.
Remove excess adhesive from the midframe using a pair of tweezers.
Ensure the rear glass is aligned with the phone, specifically the tops.
Press the rear panel firmly onto the midframe
Ensure all clips are securely locked in place.
