Remove the back cover.

Note: The S6 in this example has a broken back cover, which is not a typical scenario for camera lens glass replacement.

Be cautious when removing the back cover as it may be slightly fragile.

Locate the camera lens ring at the bottom right corner.

Be cautious not to scratch the metal ring with sharp tools.

  • Pry up the camera lens ring using a tool, taking care of the adhesive underneath.
  • Gently push the camera lens glass away from the frame with your finger or a spudger.

Peel off the upper protective film.

  • Assemble the new camera lens with its metal ring.

Peel off the bottom film from the new camera lens assembly.

  • Stick the new assembly in place.

A new back cover sticker is required; the old one may no longer be usable.

Be extremely cautious when removing a severely damaged S6 camera lens to avoid further damage to the camera body.

  • Remove the camera lens carefully to prevent scratching the surrounding components and metal ring.

Apply the sticker to the camera ring initially.

Install the new camera glass to complete the replacement.
