Use high concentration (at least 90%) isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to clean adhesion areas.

  • Peel away remaining adhesive from back cover and phone's chassis using tweezers.
  • Clean adhesion areas with one-directional swipes, avoiding back-and-forth motion.

Test your repair by turning on the phone before installing new adhesive.

  • Line up screw holes on pre-cut adhesive sheet with screws on frame.
  • If no adhesive sheet is available, use a high-bond double-sided tape like Tesa 61395.

Apply strong pressure to phone for several minutes to form a good bond.

  • Place phone under heavy books or apply steady pressure for at least several minutes.
  • If reinstalling without new adhesive, remove large chunks of adhesive and reheat with pressure.
