Samsung Galaxy S5 microSD Card Replacement
This guide will help you replace your device's microSD card.
Step 1 | Rear Case
Insert fingertip or plastic opening tool into divot to the left of the rear-facing camera.
Be careful not to press on the camera lens — risk of damage.
- Gently pry and twist the flexible rear cover off the back of the phone.
Step 2 | Battery
Insert a fingernail or plastic opening tool into the recess in the bottom right corner of the battery.
- Lift upward to release the battery's retaining mechanism.
- Remove the battery away from the phone.
Step 3 | microSD Card
Use your fingertip to gently pull the microSD card straight down out of its slot.
- Once removed, carefully take the microSD card away from the phone.
