Remove ten Phillips #000 screws, each 3.4 mm in length, from the display side of the midframe.
Flip the phone over.
Insert a plastic opening tool into the interior frame and run it gently down the left inner side to release the three white plastic clips.
Separate the midframe into its two halves by pulling the long sides of the silver bezel away from the phone.
Be cautious not to flex or damage the interior half of the midframe, which houses the motherboard.
Grasp the silver bezel and gently pull it away from the midframe's interior section.
Use a plastic opening tool to gently loosen any remaining corners of the silver bezel.
Be cautious when handling the interior midframe/motherboard assembly.
Remove the 3.0 mm Phillips #00 screw from the motherboard-to-midframe connection.
Locate the Micro-USB port daughterboard connector holding the motherboard in place.
Do not attempt to fully remove the motherboard at this stage, as it may be damaged.
