Samsung Galaxy S5 Battery Replacement
If battery is swollen, take necessary safety precautions.

Step 1 | Rear Case
Insert a fingernail or plastic opening tool into the divot to the left of the rear-facing camera.
- Gently pry the flexible rear cover away from the back of the phone.
- Twist the rear cover off the back of the phone while continuing to pry it loose.
Step 2 | Battery
Insert a fingernail or plastic opening tool into the recess at the bottom right corner of the battery.
- Lift upward to dislodge the battery.
- Remove the battery away from the phone.
