Step 1 | Battery

Locate the notch at the top of the phone.

  • Use your fingers to carefully pry open the case from the notch.

Be careful not to damage the battery when lifting it, as this can cause physical harm and phone damage.

  • Lift the battery using a plastic spudger or your fingernail.

Step 3 | Screen

Use an ESD-safe plastic opening tool or spudger to pry up the screen after the adhesive has melted.

  • Choose a tool that is suitable for electronics, such as a black nylon spudger or a plastic opening tool.
  • Avoid using metal tools whenever possible.

Due to the phone's water-resistant design, the screen cannot be safely removed without causing damage.

Small glass shards may dislodge if the plastic cover separates from the LCD screen.

  • Remove the separated plastic cover along with the LCD screen using a nylon spudger.
  • Be cautious when handling the LCD screen, as damage to its connection to the motherboard can occur.
  • Prolonged exposure of the phone's face or eyes may be hazardous if small glass shards dislodge or the metal spudger slips.

Step 5 | Rear Camera

Remove all 17 screws surrounding the plate.

Apply gentle but firm pressure to the battery compartment

  • Pry the plate outwards.

Disconnect the ribbon cable from the connector using a spudger or tweezers.

Apply gentle, delicate pressure.
