Remove the back cover.

Remove the battery.

• If installed, also remove the SIM card and SD card.

Remove the cover, then release the home button flex connector.

Be cautious of screen damage when handling the screen flex.

• Apply heat to the screen to loosen the adhesive.
• Carefully cut through the sticker under the screen using a suitable tool.
• Release the screen connector once the sticker is removed.

Remove the LCD screen from the rear case.

Remove all screws.

• Loosen the touch keys from their adhesive.
• Pull the mid-plate out from the middle housing.

Remove screws by twisting them counterclockwise.

• Continue until entire motherboard assembly is loose.
• Carefully lift out the assembly from its mounting points.

Disconnect the connector.

• Loosen the assembly using a suitable tool to release the adhesive.
• Remove the assembly once it is loose.
