High temperatures may cause harm, so handle the heat gun with caution and maintain a safe distance to avoid damaging the phone.

  • Apply heat for a short duration to loosen adhesive securing the display.

Do not remove the upper end of display assembly completely.

  • Slightly lift the upper end of display assembly.

The front panel remains attached by a connector, do not remove it entirely.

When reusing the home button flex cable, be careful to avoid damaging the connection between the cable and the home button. Adhesive can cause the cable to tear from the home button, resulting in inoperable fingerprint scanner functionality, even if the home button works.
