Samsung Galaxy S5 Active Battery Replacement
If your battery is swollen, take necessary precautions before proceeding.
Removing the background (not required) allows easy access to replace the battery, a crucial step for subsequent component removals.
Step 1 | Rear Case
Insert a fingernail or plastic opening tool into the divot above the rear-facing camera.
- Pry gently while twisting to remove the flexible rear cover from the back of the phone.
Step 2 | Battery
Insert a fingernail or plastic opening tool into the recess at the bottom right corner of the battery.
- Lift upward to release the battery.
- Remove the battery away from the phone.
