Samsung Galaxy S4 MicroSD Card Replacement
Replace a microSD card on your Samsung Galaxy S4 with these steps.
Step 1 | Rear Case
Use a plastic opening tool or your finger to pry the device open at the small indentation to the left of the rear-facing camera.
Step 2
Hold the rear case by the corner closest to the divot and gently lift it away from the phone.
Step 3 | MicroSD Card
Use the flat end of a spudger or your fingernail to press the microSD card deeper into its slot.
- A click will be heard when the card is secure.
- Release the card and it will pop out of its slot.
The microSD card can be damaged if forced too far or at an angle.
Remove the microSD card from the device.
- For reassembly, push the microSD card into the slot until it clicks in place.
