Use a plastic opening tool or your fingertip to pry carefully.
Hold the rear case at its lower corner with your fingers.
Insert a plastic opening tool or your finger into the notch of the battery compartment.
Press the SIM card slightly deeper into its slot using a plastic opening tool or your fingernail until you hear a click.
Make sure to push the SIM card into its slot during reassembly until you hear a distinct click for secure installation.
Remove the nine 4.0 mm Phillips #00 screws from the midframe.
When handling thin points on the midframe bezel, be careful not to bend or crack them.
Only pry enough to release each clip, as excessive force may cause damage.
Continue prying the phone's corner with a gentle rocking motion.
Run the plastic opening tool around the top of the phone to release the last of the clips.
Remove midframe from display assembly.
Remove all three cable connectors.
Remove the 2.4 mm Phillips #00 screw from the motherboard assembly.
Remove the motherboard with care.
Remove the 2.4 mm Phillips #00 screw securing the headphone jack assembly to the display assembly.
Remove the headphone jack assembly.
