Samsung Galaxy S4 Battery Replacement
If your battery is swollen, proceed with caution and follow proper safety protocols.
- Follow this guide for removing or replacing the battery.
Step 1 | Rear Case
Locate the small recess to the left of the rear-facing camera and gently pry it open using a plastic opening tool or your fingertip.
Step 2
Grasp the rear case at its lower left corner, adjacent to the divot, and gently pry it off.
- Lift the rear case upwards from the rest of the phone.
- Remove the rear case completely from the device.
Step 3 | Battery
Insert a plastic opening tool into the notch of the battery compartment and lift the battery upward.
- Release the battery by lifting it out of the phone.
