Turn off your phone.

  • Press and hold Volume Up, Home, and Power keys simultaneously.
  • Release the Power key once the Galaxy logo appears, but continue to press Volume Up and Home keys.

Press the Power On key to navigate to the Android System Recovery menu.

  • Use the Volume Up/Down keys to select options.
  • Select wipe cache partition, then choose Yes -- delete all user data.
  • Press the Power On key for final confirmation and reboot the system.
